We all have things in our lives that we have to work through in order to move forward and live an empowered life that feels good for our souls from within. We often hold on to internal beliefs, thought patterns and energy blockages that keep us feeling captive in our own prison of self-doubt effecting our self-esteem. I have learnt in my own personal journey that awareness is the first step to connecting with your own life. If we are not awake and aware of our old patterns, thought forms, habits and behaviours that affect us or keep us stuck, we tend to put a lid on these issues and hope that it will all disappear. Self-discovery and growth require us to pull ourselves apart and rebuild a new more empowered sense of self. When we are ready to rise, dig deep and reframe our old habits and thoughts we then embark on a journey of healing our old wounds and limitations, setting them free and moving on. The one thing that I have personally struggled with in my own life is vulnerability and recognising that vulnerability is not a weakness, if so it’s a strength. So often we place so much pressure on ourselves to create, push and succeed. When we live outside of ourselves we don’t trust that internally we are enough and that we are good enough as we are. We are always searching for external gratification, acceptance, acknowledgment and approval to validate the feeling of being good enough.
Working on excavating old behaviours and setting them free can release severe tension in your body, your life and in your energy fields. When we let go of old habits and old internal stories that no longer serve us, we then make room for new fresh energy, opportunities and creation to stimulate new growth.
When we acknowledge that we are doing our best, we build a healthy relationship within ourselves and our self-esteem. Nothing works unless you do. Invest in working through and gaining a deeper understanding of the areas in your life that you might have built a negative mindset around whether that be in business, career, relationships, finances, spiritual growth and health, most importantly, invest in healing yourself from within. So often we can’t see the wood from the trees when we are in our own thoughts, unable to move forward with our limited perspective. You are your greatest investment, you are not meant to know everything, so don’t place unnecessary pressure on yourself, take the first step and go from there.
