Are we really giving ourselves credit for being ourselves fully? We are surrounded by daily narratives and fear-based noise that encourage humanity to second guess themselves. How often do we assume that if we copy, mimic and mould ourselves into becoming someone else we will become a happier more joyful version of ourselves? In my experience trying to be a different version of yourself only leads to living a disempowered life. When we show up as an altered version of ourselves, we lose the ability to speak our purposeful truth and express ourselves fully. How often do we feel like we are surrounded by people, yet alone. When understand who we are in our primitive state of being, we long to be surrounded by honest heart felt connections. A sense of belonging that welcomes, supports and accepts people for who they are with love. In a world of social media information, we often become superficial versions of ourselves, our lifestyles and who we are. This perception not only leads to living an untruth, but also leads to the unnecessary fear of expressing an authentic version of who you truly are. Let’s face it life is not a perfect painting, life has many different facets and many different experiences both good and bad, light and dark, ups and downs, love and loss.
When we step into our own power, when we live a courageous life and when we realise that we are enough as we are, we can begin to heal. Reclaiming our power starts with making conscious choices that encourage us to reclaim the pieces of ourselves that we so easily hand over to the world. When we take back our voice, our thoughts, our purpose and realise that we are so uniquely beautiful we become enlightened.
You are enough as you are, don’t you forget it. Shine your light, live with courage and follow your inner guidance.
